Pre-Christmas Festivities

Christmas is by far the most wonderful time of the year! We have been able to do some fun things with this winter weather and in preparation for the big day. After the 'BIG blizzard' hit Utah, JD and Dutch took Jonnie out sledding just in my parents' front yard.... and she loved it!

As soon as we got up to Montana on the 10th, we hurried and got our Christmas tree cut down! Jonnie zonked out on the way up there since Grandpa was driving grandpa speeds in the loader in front of us;)...

so JD and Charlie were in charge of finding our tree.....

..... and I stayed in the truck with her. Look how deep that snow is! No thanks. I didn't wear snow pants!

Such a fun tradition up here at the ranch though.

Good thing we got it that Sunday cause JD got called a couple hours later by Tampa Bay and had to head there the next day. We miss him:(.

3 YEARS

Has it really been THREE years already?! On December 8th, we celebrated our anniversary and believe it or not.... we got to spend it together! JD got back from Miami on the 7th and then left for Tampa on the 11th so luckily we got to squeeze in a day together in between. We were in Utah so my Mom offered to watch Jonnie... thanks mom:) JD and I started out by going to 'linner' at Rodizio Grill... YUM!... then we went to see a movie, which NEVER HAPPENS! It was so nice to just get some alone time with my sexy husband. I sure do love him! We headed home after that and finished the night with little Jonnie Belle by going to DQ for a blizzard and snuggling up next to the fire to watch Home Alone.

I was SO excited when JD called and told me he was on his way home... an anniversary is no bueno if the hubby isn't around. We might not be together for Christmas this year:( so at least we got to spend this day together.

JD didn't know if he would be home or not so he had roses sent to me from Miami. What a sweet boy I have.

This is the only picture we took together! We are kind of lame.... but at least we got one with Jonnie the next day!

She LOVES her Daddy so. It is quite adorable to see them together.

JD, I love you MORE today than the day I married you. Can't wait for our forever years to come!

my little helper

 I always wanted to have a boy first so he could look out for the other brothers and sisters & stuff like that.  I now know why Jonnie was the first-born...... so she could help her mama!! She seriously is the best helper... it doesn't matter what I'm doing: wiping up messes, folding clothes, cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming, sweeping. She loves it all! And from the motherly instincts that she shows with her babies, I'll bet she's gonna be a GREAT big sister too:) Here are some of her vacuuming in AZ... she LOVED that it was just her size.
